The Plan (updated 7/2/09)
Stage I: meet in the Atrium Bar of the Hilton after 5. Tell the hostess (if there is one) you are a friend of Jake's. If you can, also put FoJ on a piece of paper on your table so newcomers can find you.
Stage II: No-host bar/reception, promenade, outside the Pacific Ballroom, Hilton Hotel, 6.00.
Stage III: Integrity Eucharist, Pacific Ballroom, Hilton Hotel, 7.30.
Stage IV: Time TBD. Bar Louie in the Anaheim Garden Walk, 321 Katella Ave.
Going to Anaheim?
The Episcopal Church is going to Anaheim to hold its General Convention. Time for a Southern California blogger reunion. Come celebrate What Father Jake Hath Wrought. If you are a Friend of Jake's , please post in the comments. (We are hoping for a sighting of the man himself!)

Half a mile away from the Convention Center is Bar Louie:

Never been there. No reservations can be made. But there's a patio with seating for 100. If its hopping on a Friday nite, we may be stuck...but its the first place I saw that seemed to have possibilities.
Other suggestions within walking distance of the Convention Center?
That night is a home game at the stadium, hopefully that will take away some of the traffic. Bar Louis is in a mall with a lot o other places in it, sounds like a good plan.
